Few would contest that Monaco is a Principality with many jewels in its crown. Clearly, many residents continue to be attracted by factors such as the exceptional property in Monaco, its climate and high class facilities. However, the Principality also has a wider cultural appeal with an excellent range of museums, galleries and events on offer.

Ballet is just one of the art-forms that has enjoyed immense popularity and success in Monaco. Monaco’s royal family have always shown a great appreciation for the arts and ballet has been no exception. In 1985, Princess Caroline established ‘Les ballets de Monte-Carlo’, an official classical ballet company for Monaco. It is both Princess Caroline and another exceptional individual who can be credited with bringing Monaco ballet to the forefront in recent years.

Countdown until Monte Carlo Rolex Masters

Tennis fans renting a St Tropez House villa are in for a real treat when the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters is held in Monaco this spring.

The tiny principality nestled on the Cote d’Azur between Italy and France may seem like a long way to go for a tennis match, but the 90-minute journey by car really isn’t that far if you are passionate about the sport.

And for those who have a tight schedule but don’t want to miss out on a match between heavy weights such as Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray, there is also a very efficient helicopter service to consider. Those staying in a St Tropez villa with a helipad can benefit from an excellent 20 minute service from St Tropez to Monaco meaning that you can be in the stands at the exclusive Monte Carlo Country Club less than half an hour after breakfasting on the terrace of your St Tropez House villa.

The Monte Carlo Rolex Masters is one of the biggest tennis tournaments in Europe and is held every April at the highly esteemed country club. Sponsored by the luxury brand Rolex, it is part of the ATP tour’s clay court season and will this year take place between April 14th and 21st.

The tournament, which is held a short hop from the heliport for our clients staying in a St Tropez villa with a helipad, attracts many of the world’s premier players such as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Nadal, who won it last year for the record-breaking eighth time.

If you are staying in one of our exclusive St Tropez House villas and would like to buy tickets for the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters, go to www.monte-carlorolexmasters.com. Alternatively ask any one of our dedicated team to help you. Our staff can also help you book a helicopter flight or organize a taxi service to Monaco if required.
