As we previously mentioned in St Tropez House blog, the exclusive resort in the South of France has been adopted by many celebrities as their favourite summer retreat.
And one of the most ardent fans of this stunning corner of France is supermodel Kate Moss, who is a regularly visitor to the beaches of Saint Tropez.
In fact, hardly a summer goes by without a series of photographs splashed on international newspapers featuring Kate Moss with an assortment of friends living it up in Saint Tropez.
Her constant companion in recent years has been her husband and musician Jamie Hince, whom she married in 2011. The loved-up couple regularly holiday in the South of France with Kate’s daughter Lila Grace, and the trio are frequently snapped on board this or that luxury yacht moored in waters off Saint Tropez.
However, over the years Kate has been photographed with a number of other celebrities with whom she has holidayed, including Topshop boss Sir Philip Green, party pal France Cutler and British recording artist Lily Allen.
The supermodel is known to be a particular fan of the celebrity haunt Club 55, an exclusive beach club on Pampelonne beach where tables draped in blue and white tablecloths play host to famous guests from leading politicians to Russian tycoons.
The discrete restaurant and bar where guests can lounge on comfy sun-lounges under the Tropezienne sun can be accessed by boat as it boasts its very own pontoon, so makes the perfect lunch venue for Kate and co when chartering a luxury yacht.
The British model has been coming to the resort for years, so it made perfect sense when she was named as the new face and body of St Tropez self-tan last year.
At the time, Kate said: “St. Tropez is a trustworthy brand, people know it and it’s a natural-looking tan – what people don’t want is something orange,” she said. “I’ve been using the products since they started.”
“When you’ve got a tan it definitely helps with your confidence. You just feel better. You look in the mirror and think: ‘Ooh, I look quite healthy! I feel awful, but I look great!'” she said. “[St. Tropez] does it so well that you do look natural, you don’t have that fear, which I always did, of going streaky and not being able to fix it.”
