In 2021 three young Tropéziens entrepreneurs with a vision launched Indie Group in Saint Tropez; a dynamic group which pushes the boundaries of what it means to ‘dine out’. This recognisably hip brand has seen unprecedented growth since its inception and continues to wow the global hospitality industry. Having grown up in the glamorous village of Saint Tropez, 3 childhood friends (Vincent Luftman, Raphaël Blanc and Tobias Chaix) knew first hand all that Saint Tropez had to offer and what they could add to its already glowing reputation. In an effort to bring about a new modern era of Saint Tropez, these friends decided to launch their very own beach club, Indie Beach on Pampelonne in 2021 as their flagship location! Experiencing almost instant success, they then continued to grow exponentially and breathe new life into the Saint Tropez summer scene.

Fast forward one year and Indie Group boasts 6 successful restaurants & beach clubs in France. Their group includes: Indie Beach and Playamigos on the sands of Pampelonne, Pablo, La Sauvageonne and Le Café de L’Ormeau in Saint Tropez, and their winter establishment Indie Mountain in the exclusive village of Megève. From the nomadic beach club vibe of Pampelonne beach to après-ski fun in a cosy chalet atmosphere, Indie Group establishments are on the ‘must be seen at’ list of HNWIs all year round.
An abbreviation for ‘independent’, Indie Group has fashioned an instantly recognizable brand in a very short period. It has even broadened its reach into the music industry; hosting a yearly music festival called Indie Fest in the citadelle of Saint Tropez which welcomes the world’s best contemporary music artists. They also boast their very own music label called Indie House Records!

In 2022 Indie Group stepped once again ahead of its competitors by signing with EV Technology Group/MOKE France SAS for a subscription service to electric Mini Mokes. MOKE France CEO Willy Gruyelle explains how “For us, they (Indie Group) are the right mobility partner for driving a MOKE this summer: with a fresh perspective on the Riviera lifestyle, in line with the local heritage but always pushing the boundaries. We hope to drive with them in each and every new location they open!”
