Sun, sea and an expanse of golden sand is the image conjured up for many at the mention of St Tropez. But with so many fantastic St Tropez beach clubs on offer, it can be hard to know where to head to for those idyllic days of relaxation. Luckily our team at St Tropez House has got your covered – discover our pick of the 6 best beach clubs in St Tropez here.
The very best St Tropez beach clubs
1. Club 55
Arguably the most famous of all the St Tropez beach clubs, Club 55 has been charming visitors with its shabby-chic restaurant and stripy blue parasols since it opened in 1955, acting as a ‘canteen’ for the likes of Brigitte Bardot and the rest of the crew filming And God Created Woman. Fast forward more than 50 years and the hugely popular Saint Tropez beach club still hosts some of the biggest names in Hollywood, who flock to Club 55 for its low-key dining and privacy behind a row of Tamarisk trees. A true St Tropez legend, this club will always be our number one thanks to its unfailing ability to make everyone feel like an old friend.
2. Nikki Beach
There is nothing low-key about the next Pampelonne beach club on our list. Nikki Beach St Tropez, of the famous Nikki Beach Club group with clubs in Miami, Bodrum, Koh Samui and other notable destinations, is where the beautiful set head to dance the day away. The St Tropez branch opened in 2002, and has become iconic for its ultra-glamorous, champagne-spraying aesthetic. Set around a large decked pool, there is an electric vibe from morning to night, making it one of the best beach clubs in St Tropez for a raucous day out!
3. The Pearl Beach
Number 3 on our list of favourite St Tropez beach clubs is Pearl Beach, a chic spot offering some of the best cuisine of any of the Pampelonne beach clubs. We highly recommend sampling their menu, which includes pan-fried foie gras with roasted pineapple and a divine thai red curry with braised king prawns. What’s more, Pearl Beach also has its own spa complete with a comprehensive list of treatments, so you can indulge in a luxurious pampering session while listening to the soothing sound of waves. We’re struggling to imagine anything more indulgent…

4. Les Palmiers
If you’re looking for pure zen, Les Palmiers is the beach club for you. Run by charismatic St Tropez couple Mimi and Stephanie, this is somewhere to come and bliss out with your loved one, taking your pick of elegant white beds or chic loungers to relax upon. Serving up a range of fresh Mediterranean dishes and enough champagne to keep you busy for the day, believe us when we say you’ll never want to leave. Soak up the sun and take a break from everyday life at this most chilled of St Tropez beach clubs.
5. Tahiti Beach Club
One of the best beach clubs in St Tropez is also the oldest. Nine years before Club 55 opened its doors, Tahiti Beach had already established itself as the place for locals to come and relax on Pampelonne beach; where they could eat, drink and relax under the St Tropez sun. More than 60 years later, and the beach club is still one of the most popular and loved in the region. Feel the true spirit of the French Riviera as you relax with a cocktail and take in the unspoilt haven that surrounds you.
6. LouLou Beach
This beach club isn’t technically open yet, but that hasn’t stopped us getting excited for its opening in April this year. Loulou Beach St Tropez is set to be the hottest of the new St Tropez beach clubs, with its popular Parisian sister restaurant setting the tone for an establishment with a truly unique style; Loulou Paris strives to make visitors feel like they are visiting friends in a country manor house. How this will translate the golden sands of Pampelonne awaits to be seen, but we aspire to be some of the first to find out, alongside sampling dishes from its tantalising Mediterranean menu.
