It’s just a few days until the glamorous Monaco Grand Prix takes place in the Principality of Monaco, a two hour drive from most of our luxury villas to rent in Saint Tropez.
But if you would like to attend arguably the world’s most exciting and electrifying Formula 1 event, there is a much quicker way to get there: by private helicopter right from outside your luxury villa to rent in Saint Tropez.
Many of our most exclusive properties come with their very own helipad in the grounds, so catching a ride by helicopter to the Monaco Grand Prix really couldn’t be easier.
The journey by helicopter from one of our St Tropez villas with a helipad to the heliport in Monaco, a stone’s throw from the daring grand prix track, is just 25 minutes long.
This year’s grand prix, one of the biggest sporting events to be held annually in Monaco, will take place on Sunday May 26th, just as the Cannes Film Festival draws to a close.
Over the next few days Monaco will be transformed into a daring race track which circles the port and weaves its way around the principality, the second smallest in the world.
Stands are currently being erected for the thousands of spectators who flood into Monaco every year to watch the race live, whilst tens of millions more will be preparing to catch the start of the race on television sets across the globe.
The Monaco Grand Prix is considered by many as one of the most challenging races on the F1 circuit, with a number of hair-raising bends and a particularly nasty tunnel that drivers must master.
It is also the shortest. Every other race on the F1 calendar covers a distance of more than 300km long, but the circuit around Monaco is just 260km. Drivers have to race around the track no less than 78 times.
If you are coming to a St Tropez villa with a helipad and would like help in reserving a helicopter to take you to the Monaco Grand Prix, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our consultants.
