Canadian Jazz star Jill Barber is playing at the Red Radish Supper Club in Chateauneuf de Grasse on January 20th. Jill is bringing her beautiful songs and languid delivery to Europe for another of her increasingly successful tours and this special, invitation only event is a real coup for the organizers.
Her voice has been likened to Edith Piaf, Patsy Cline, and Billie Holiday. Hmm, well maybe, but really she’s a one-off: it’s the sound of aching desire and cool jazzy control all tied up in a honey-flavoured seductive delivery.
