10 years after her first solo performance in Don’t look Back, the hugely successful one-woman show created by American contemporary dance choreographe Carolyn Carlson, French dancer and choreographer Marie-Claude Pietragalla is back on stage alone again with La tentation d’Eve (The Temptation of Eve). With this 77 minute production, the beautiful brunette pays tribute to the Eternal Feminine with a poetic journey that centers on the theme of womanhood throughout History.
As the curtain opens, the dancer is seen pushing a giant red apple from one side of the stage to the other, re-enacting the story of Adam and Eve. She will then travel through time, from the gardens of Eden to the urban jungle of the third millennium to reveal the difficulties of being a woman.
